The aims of the Glebe Art Show are to:
- focus attention on artists living or working in the Glebe area, which includes the City of Sydney and Leichardt Council municipalities
- provide a venue for local artists to show and sell their work
- assist local emerging artist to show their work and to encourage them to participate in the process of staging an exhibition
- promote the work and services of the Glebe Library.
