Amber Johnston is a multidisciplinary Australian artist living on Wangal Land, Sydney. Her work spans a variety of media including fibre-art, assemblage, print-making and painting and she explores unusual combinations of materials to organically create works. Amber’s art practice is process-based and immersive. She views the physical act of making work as of equal importance to the final product, itself indicative of a meditative moment in time.

Amber's Inner West paintings depict these moments at a specific time and place to which she feels a connection.
