In this work I have endeavored to express affect in a way that does not differentiate from the body and place. The storm occurs both in nature and within the person at the same time. This work is part of my commitment to painting about the climate crisis, specifically climate emotion. Im interested in collapsing the binary between mind and place, representing the mind as part of the ecology not disembodied from it.
