Kate Galea was born in London and studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martin's University of the Arts. Emigrating to Sydney with her wife in 2011 she now calls Redfern home. Her work aims to remind her audience of the beauty of human accomplishment in this age of digital AI generated art and cultures obsession with perfection.
