In this self-portrait, I aim to subvert and deconstruct normative identifications of ontology and self-hood through an experimental exploration into abstract colour/shape nihilism. As such, the portrait asks not to be observed in a static subject-object paradigm but rather invites audiences to engage meaningfully by realising that the artwork is as much them as they are themselves.
