Guidelines for Entry​

  1. Entrants must live or work within the City of Sydney or Inner West Council local government areas and be at least 18 years of age.

  2. One work per entrant is allowed in one of the following categories:
    Works on Canvas/Painting/Mixed Media, Works on paper, Photography

  3. A work previously submitted is not eligible for this year’s exhibition.

  4. All works submitted must be suitable to hang on a wall. Size limit one square meter including mount and frame. Excessively heavy or oversized works will be rejected.

  5. Prints and drawings must be properly framed. All works must be ready to hang, with D rings.

  6. Works that comprise more than one piece (e.g. diptychs, triptychs) must be joined as one work.

  7. If an artwork is framed the frame should be included in the price and size.

  8. Entry fee is $30 per entry, not refundable.

  9. All works submitted must be for sale. 25% commission will be retained on each sale. Proceeds are used to fund the Glebe Art Show.

  10. This is a non-selective show. Decisions on placement of the artworks will be made by our curatorial panel. No further communication will be entered into regarding this.

  11. The judges’ decisions regarding awarding of prizes are final.

  12. All prizes are non-acquisitive.

  13. Insurance is the responsibility of the entrant.

  14. All reasonable care will be taken to ensure the safety of the works while on the premises.

  15. All works submitted must be delivered and collected within the times stipulated. (Late collection will incur a holding fee of $5 /day)
