I was bushwalking in the Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania, the sun was starting to drop and the colours of the lichen and moss on this tree was spectacular. A perfect subject to stitch! The photograph is a fine art print on canvas and hand stitched by me using varying weight cottons to embellish the photograph, a process that takes many many hours of rewarding work.
