Parts of Djabugay mob country are pristine rain forests in Far North Queensland. The Djabugay mob are the traditional custodians of the Barron River and rainforest regions of FNQ are constantly impacted by cyclones and flooding in Kuranda, Cairns, Mareeba and other regions of Djuabgay country. The area has been maintained and nurtured despite the forces of nature for tens of thousand of years. When the cyclones subside and the floods recede - the mists lift and the beauty is revealed again. Year after year. Decade after decade. Millenia after Millenia.

Always was Djabugay mob country
