The Lone Windmill reflects the quiet resilience of the Australian landscape. Windmills, once vital for drawing water from the land, stand as symbols of endurance, isolation, and the deep connection between people and country. In this felted work, I wanted to capture the vastness of the sky, the warmth of the fields, and the solitary presence of the windmill watching over it all.
