The creation of this work was a progression of accumulation and refinement. I balance highly textured, crackle-like metallic forms - suggesting ancient earth and passing time - with smooth marbled blocks and striking crimson accents. Ultimately, this painting is an invitation to move beyond literal interpretation and engage with the rich, sensory textures of a classic story reimagined.
