I love painting still life, especially those with a Mediterranean feel, as well as landscapes that capture the beauty of the places around us. 
This painting was inspired by the simple pleasures of a Mediterranean summer — a cold drink after garden work and having picked some tomatoes for dinner. 
I love the way everyday objects, warm light and beautiful colours can come together to create a sense of warmth, relaxation and happy memories.
Presently I am studying at Studio 33 with Rex Turnbull.
