This painting emerged from a kaleidoscope of personal memories, of carefree days at wild beaches, exploring the natural trails and surrounding terrain. Discovering hidden tracts of untethered driftwood and other treasures that had been washed up by the storms, the rocks whisper their secrets to me as I lean in. The curious wanderer is rewarded with a glimpse into this most wondrous habitat, the rare opportunity to simply observe and be present. I am in communion with nature and my heart is open.
