Based on a memory of visiting Carmen Miranda’s birthplace - Marco de Canaveses,  in Porto you have the intrusion of an abandoned car in an untouched landscape. 
It shows how one discarded object can change the landscape. The eye is drawn to the small object in the corner of the painting.
