Inspired by the late, great artist and environmental warrior, Mandy Martin, this work uses both Central Australian and Glebe foreshore sand to help conjure the harsh, outback environment. Among Martin's many legacies are her championing of the Australian environment and fight against the global threat from climate change. This road trip invoked her passionate determination to make a difference through her art.
