This artwork explores the beauty of the Glebe backstreets. Whether it be the colours, shape or design of the buildings around Glebe, or the variety of lovely faces that walk the streets, I have always found something exciting around each corner. Having moved from Northern NSW to near Glebe two and a half years ago to study at the University of Sydney, I have found myself on countless early morning or afternoon runs around the neighbourhood, only to stop often to take a photo of something beautiful along the way. This house in particular caught my eye. Through this paining I tried to capture the essence what Glebe has been to me so far: calm, dynamic and fresh…always offering something to admire.
