I paint fish that at first may seem colourful, almost jaunty but look for a while and there is a sense of unease. Like our oceans are they alive or dead? There is a feeling of anxiety when you look into their eyes. My fish paintings reflect the state of our environment and unease that underlies our daily way of life.
