I have always liked the line - 'when summer's in the meadow' from the song Danny Boy and this inspired this painting. I draw inspiration from nature - forests to farmland to the outback.  The shapes, textures, colours and light which I like to express semi-abstractly to abstractly.  I paint in acrylic and also use collage, ink and pastel.
