This painting is about my tranquil memories of walking through the meandering greenery of Tuscany. I remember the soft folding hills and roads - ancient landscape around us. At times the sky disappeared as we walked absorbed in the calm stillness. We were surrounded by the glow of moving slowly through the spring time. I wanted the painting to capture the feeling of that walk ….. the immersion in that landscape both timeless and deeply connected to the past.
