I am a multi-media artist living in the Inner West. The Inner West Council (previously Marrickville Council) has prided itself on planting trees along our nature strips to help green our environment which, along with beautifying the environment also helps with pollution, heat and wildlife. Alongside this has been the emergence of gardens created by residents outside their place of abode. My painting is inspired by the garden my daughter has created on a section of our nature strip outside our home.
