Lions hold a sacred place in my art. Years ago, I adopted the name "Choiki Senge" during my refuge vow, embodying the "Lion of the Dharma." This noble creature remains a guiding force in my meditations and beliefs.
In this artwork, I pay tribute to this bond. Countless paper cutouts converge, shaping a lion's gaze in an aerial seascape. The ocean, once backdrop to a memorable swim where a lion's face greeted me, symbolises my journey's protection and honor.
