Floating Icon That unmistakable arch, beautiful from any angle, whether in its full glory or tantalising glimpses, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of my favourite subjects to photograph. This shot was taken in July 2025 in fine weather between a string of rainy days, with the Bridge reflected in a glittering puddle along the promenade of the Overseas Passenger Terminal. The relationship between the linear steel trusses and the curve of the steel arches captured my interest: they are made of the same material, but differ significantly in form. I'm a photographer based in Glebe. Photography has changed the way I look at the world every day, whether it is the city, people, nature to be celebrated, or stories to be told.
