Fleur recently completed an art residency with Cloudbough in Kandos and this abstract work is a response to her time spent in the regional area of New South Wales.
Fleur hopes to convey new landscapes informed from an emotive response to walks she took around and looking over Capertee Valley. The artwork considers the physicality of an emotive response, whether it�s a calming, feminine space or a rugged, mountainous environment and the relationship between experiencing a place and being immersed in a landscape.
