I love to shoot full moon aligned to iconic monuments and buildings. On the 21st of July 2024, I planned to capture the full moon rise with the Macquarie Lighthouse. While the weather forecast was perfect, low clouds appeared to hit the panic button. However luck favoured us and the moon appeared to perfectly align with the lighthouse allowing us to capture this nature's wonder that lasted for less than two minutes when shooting with a telephoto lens over long distance.

Shooting distance was 3.4 kms and moon size relative to the lighthouse was 32 m
